Recorded 1st class delivery is a non-guaranteed service and takes between 1-3 days after dispatch. Special delivery is a Guaranteed service - it is guaranteed before 12 Noon the following day after dispatch. %3CP%3EPLEASE NOTE %3CBR%3ESpecial Delivery service does not mean next day delivery from purchase of your order, but next day delivery from dispatch. Please note that some areas take 1-2 days for delivery for Special Delivery - go to www.royalmail.com for details. All items sent by Special delivery are insured for the full value - 1st class recorded items are only insured for up to £28. All orders over the value of £30 will automatically be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery service.%3CBR%3EAll items sent will require a signature by someone residing at the delivery address.%3CBR%3EIf there is nobody available to sign for a parcel we sent, then the item will be returned to your local mail delivery or sorting office (not a post office), and a card will be left that gives you details of the collection procedure. You will then need to phone the number on the card and request an alternative delivery date or collect the parcel from your local sorting office. PLEASE NOTE - Parcels will only be held for 7 days before being returned to us, at which stage we will contact you to arrange payment for a second delivery based on our delivery charges below. Usually we will find that an item is waiting at your local delivery office for collection, but very occasionally items do go missing in the postal system.
